God is in the details of this wordless 45-minute work by collaborative movement-theater troupe Sprung. The subject is a happy one: the piece’s starting point was the sentence “Two people choose to be together.” And the show is defined, for better and worse, by its lightheartedness–even the seven deft performers’ movements are light and quick. Scenes in which they wait for a bus or take their dogs to the park are remarkable for their musicality, acute observation, and humor. A scene set in a bar is darker and more thoughtful, as minute gestures–a reach between the legs of a chair, a glare–express yearning or rejection. Using a clever sound mix yjiulio;and minimalist set, Abound explores the dynamics and repercussions of romantic relationships through the fundamentals of physical expression: gaze, body alignment, timing, tiny adjustments in personal space. Problem is, it doesn’t do much else. Through 5/21: Fri-Sat 8 PM. Chopin Theatre, 1543 W. Division, 773-456-5687. $15.
